Easter

We have lots of fun at the Nicholas' Easter party, which, as I said in an earlier post, I couldn't find my camera for. The kids came home with candy, colored eggs, prizes and "large sums of money" (ask Tyler).

We had a great Easter. The kids woke up to find, just the right amount of stuff in their baskets. They usually get needed items, this year is was socks. They got some books, and this year the baskets got an extra special treat from special people who love our family very much. Thank you! We didn't get over loaded with candy that will sit around forever, and nobody even missed it!

Everyone got stuff they enjoyed, but the winner was the new "bobo". Paige loves it. The only problem is that all the tabs are silky and she can't figure out which one to snuggle with!

We don't really do the Easter bunny thing. I try to just leave it out without making it a big deal. That morning we talked about what Easter was really about. My kids are amazing. Church was great and we followed it up with dyeing eggs and watching "Finding Faith in Christ" for Family Home Evening on Monday. The kids were so good. I really hope they are beginning to understand the role Christ plays in our lives and what He did for us.

Cute Easter pictures! That is so funny about Paige not knowing which tab to snuggle... poor girl won't sleep well, just turning that thing around and around!

The very first thing Ty said when he got to piano on monday, was to tell me how much money he got in his eggs! Looks like a great day!

So cute about Paige and the bobo. And yeah, I totally I forgot to ask you about that, but on Monday Makelle announced to preschool that her mom was the Easter Bunny and the other kids looked at her super confused and didn't know what to say. :)
